The things some women do to smuggle drugs

The struggle is real!..drug smuggling had always been done by 'males'. But now, in the equality era, women do it too. Risking it all for whatever reason and smuggling those drugs into another territory.

So I ran up a story on 2 different women and their mastermind plan (or Boss's plan) to smuggle cocaine into another country and the method was just too 'womany' (if that makes sense).

1. Paola Deyanira Sabillon

The 22-year-old Honduran woman was arrested at a Colombian airport after 1.5kg of liquid cocaine, stuffed in two tied-up latex gloves, was discovered inside her breasts. Her nervousness at the security line is what 'ticked off ' the El Dorado airport police.

She then confessed that an 'unknown substance' was implanted inside her and she was ordered to transport it to Barcelona, Spain.

X-rays were then done and revealed that surgery had recently been carried out on her breasts and round £150,000 worth of cocaine had been planted inside.

Authorities believed that the surgery took place at a 'clandestine clinic' in the city of Pereira, Western Colombia.
The implants were then removed at Bogota hospital where she was being treated for an infection.
She was arrested this June,2015.

2. Tabitha Leah Ritchie

In September 2013, a Canadian woman was arrested at the same airport for trying to smuggle 2kg of cocaine in a 'fake pregnancy suit' LOL!

The 28, was stopped while trying to board an Air Canada flight to Toronto after an inspector noticed her stomach was unusually cold and hard.
Police discovered she had strapped on a fake, latex-made belly to herself and filled it with the illegal class-A drug.

'The way she operated was to fool law enforcement checks by faking a pregnancy,' said Colonel Esteban Arias, deputy director of Colombia's anti-narcotic police department.

It was the first time he had seen that method of transporting drugs and said they were investigating who had made the fake stomach.

Ritchie is currently serving a four-year sentence in Colombia for accomplice to drug smuggling. She’s lucky cause after eight months in a Bogota women’s prison she’s now under house arrest, living on the second floor of a church with a family of five.

Smuggle drugs and get house arrest, now who would find that as hard punishment?! Home toilet, home food, a great long shower, comfortable bed, nice clothes and sandals...and the best is...you don't have to fight over anything or be anybody's somebody!

In the end their master plans didn't work.
